Crawford Plains is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,220 living in private households. 39.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 22.2%. 55.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 28.6% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $100,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 22.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.53 km², giving a population density of 2,758 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
