Decoteau (north) is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,521 living in private households. 78.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 47.3%. 20.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 55.3% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $118,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 5.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 7.46 km², giving a population density of 204 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
