Hazeldean is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,242 living in private households. 10.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 2.7%. 81.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 7.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 11.4% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $88,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 41.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.62 km², giving a population density of 2,006 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
