Killarney is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,165 living in private households. 35.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 12.4%. 51.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 12.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.5% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $69,500 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 61.1% of households rented rather than owned.
