La Perle is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,120 living in private households. 38.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 12.5%. 51.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 10.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 32.4% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $86,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 31.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.72 km², giving a population density of 1,885 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
