Royal Gardens is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,392 living in private households. 45.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 12.6%. 50.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.4% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $80,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 45.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.23 km², giving a population density of 2,761 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
