Wellington is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,314 living in private households. 29.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Filipino at 11.1%. 57.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 13.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 21.8% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $84,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 35.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.32 km², giving a population density of 2,508 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
