Brentwood (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Strathcona County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,560 living in private households. 4.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 1.2%. 90.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 7.7% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $158,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 2.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.05 km², giving a population density of 2,225 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
