Plaines Royer is a neighbourhood of Beaumont, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,836 living in private households. 19.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 8.1%. 73.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 6.9% reported Indigenous identity.
