Southfort is a neighbourhood of Fort Saskatchewan, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,529 living in private households. 6.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 1.5%. 85.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 7.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 6.5% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $129,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 24.2% of households rented rather than owned.
