Spruce Avenue is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,829 living in private households. 32.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 12.3%. 50.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 17.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.5% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $71,500 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 61.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.94 km², giving a population density of 1,939 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
