Baranow is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,633 living in private households. 48.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 17.1%. 46.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.8% reported Indigenous identity.
