Blackburne is a neighbourhood of Edmonton, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,285 living in private households. 39.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 14.5%. 58.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.1% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $115,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 11.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.14 km², giving a population density of 1,070 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
