Strathcona County (northeast) is a neighbourhood of Strathcona County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,535 living in private households. 6.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 3.2%. 88.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 5.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 7.9% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $157,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 6.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 63.75 km², giving a population density of 71 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
