Strathcona County (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Strathcona County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,011 living in private households. 17.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 11.5%. 79.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.3% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $157,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 14.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 106.12 km², giving a population density of 66 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
