Sturgeon County (northwest) is a neighbourhood of Sturgeon County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,872 living in private households. 2.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 0.5%. 86.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 11.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 4.8% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $108,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 12.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 586.20 km², giving a population density of 12 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
