Parkland County (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Parkland County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,867 living in private households. 2.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 0.8%. 89.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 8.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 7.6% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $113,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 6.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 378.10 km², giving a population density of 16 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
