Parkland County (east-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Parkland County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,584 living in private households. 4.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 1.5%. 90.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 10.2% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $131,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 7.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 245.41 km², giving a population density of 23 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
