Strathcona County (east) is a neighbourhood of Strathcona County, in Greater Edmonton. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,486 living in private households. 4.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 33.0% across Greater Edmonton as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 1.5%. 91.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 6.7% of the population, compared with 26.0% citywide. Median household income before tax was $135,000 in 2020, compared with $96,000 for Greater Edmonton. 5.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 91.86 km², giving a population density of 49 people per square kilometre (Greater Edmonton averages about 144).
